Summer Programs

Summer programs at the Montessori School of Northampton offer enriching and engaging sessions, allowing Children’s House, elementary, and middle school-aged kids opportunities to follow their artistic passions and get plenty of time outside each day.

Sessions include an immersive Outdoor Adventure program with rock climbing and canoeing, a Farm-to-Table program with field trips to local farms and tasty food, and STEAM activities from Mad Science and Crayola® Imagine Arts Academy™.

All of these sessions focus on fostering independence, practical skills, and social respect.

  • Toddler programming helps engage a child’s innate “do it myself” drive, with opportunities to hone physical and practical skills, learn social lessons, and name their feelings while noticing the feelings of others.
    • Note: Toddler programming is limited to current students and students starting in Fall 2026.
  • The Children’s House curriculum includes theme based programming, focused art classes, an emphasis on practical life skills, and extended outdoor exploration.

  • Elementary and middle school students will benefit from aspects of the Montessori environment including independent work choices, respect and care for social relationships, and advanced practical life skills.
